In recognition of Volunteer Week, we would like to put a big thank you out to all the volunteers that keep the Legion going. Most people are unaware that all executive including the president are volunteers. Every one of them puts quite a few hours in weekly to make the Shelburne Legion the best place in town to go.
Our Bingo jackpot will remain at $1000 on Monday evenings.
We offer euchre on Mondays at 2 p.m. and Thursdays at 7 p.m.
Our Veterans meet every Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. for coffee and laughs, anyone is welcome to come join in.
Wednesday night darts has finished their year.
This Friday is Wing Night with DJ Terrence in the house.
We are working on Heritage Day events as well as Fiddle Weekend at the moment, we will keep you up dated on both events.
Next Friday, April 24th is our Spring Jam Night, with Mark and Andre as hosts. All musicians and anyone who just enjoys listening and dancing to good local music are welcome to come. Jam begins at 8 p.m.
We are sad to say that Micah will be closing his kitchen for the summer. He will be cooking this Thursday with home made panzorottis and next Thursday April 23rd and Friday April 24th.
Good luck to our dart players who will be playing provincial tournament in Sutton this weekend.
Elections will be on Tuesday April 28th at 7:30 p.m. Members, now is the time to elect the people you would like to see on the executive. Good Luck to all of those that are running.
