Breakfast Club at the Farmers Market on June 11th

Every morning from 8:25 to 8:50 a.m., students at Centre Dufferin District High School are provided with a buffet style breakfast to get their day started off on the right foot. It is an inclusive club that welcomes any student; whether it is because they have had a long bus ride, an early morning sports practice or are financially struggling and do not have a healthy meal at home. Every student is invited to grab a snack to kick start their learning. Currently, the program is providing approximately 80 students a day with a healthy meal. On June 11th, students and staff from CDDHS will be hosting a booth at the Shelburne Farmers Market in support of the program. Money earned from the sales of Welding and Woodworking projects, baking and donations will be used to get the program up and running again in September.
