Honeywood Hockey Moms 8th Annual Tournament raises $46,000 for Headwaters’ Oncology

Board members and staff of Headwaters Foundation were thrilled to welcome the organizers of the 8th Annual Jennifer Widbur Memorial Hockey Tournament last week as they presented the $46,000 net proceeds from of this year’s event!
This annual hockey event is just one of the ways Jennifer’s husband Mike deLaat, their two sons Logan and Quinn, and many other friends and family help keep her memory alive since she lost her battle to breast cancer in 2007.
The successful event brought the tight-knit community together once again to have fun, share memories of Jennifer, and raise funds for Headwaters’ Cancer Care program. In total this event has raised over $313,000 for the Oncology program and the entire group of volunteers and players look forward to another fantastic turn out next year!
