Memorial fund set up in honour of Natasha Paterson

August 27, 2015   ·   0 Comments

A memorial fund has been setup following the tragic and untimely death of 12-year-old Natasha Paterson.
Natasha was killed on Saturday, August 8th, minutes prior to the start of the 65th Annual Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship Parade, in which she, and her horse ‘Toby’, were scheduled to take part.
For reasons unknown, the horse reared in the staging area, and both Natasha and her horse fell. Natasha did not survive the incident.
Shelburne Police have since ruled Natasha’s death as accidental, and the case has been closed.
Natasha’s parent’s, Duncan and Teresa, are now battling through their grief – with lots of support from family and friends – and have setup a memorial account in Natasha’s name, at the Shelburne branch of the Toronto Dominion Bank.
For those who would like to support this worthy cause, donations can be made to account number: 166-6496033.
