Shortly before midnight on November 25th during a R.I.D.E. program in Shelburne, a white Volkswagen and its driver was charged for something other than alcohol consumption. An Shelburne police officer initiated an investigation into drug possession and seized a quantity of marijuana from the car. This resulted in 28 year old Kevin Seabrook of Owen Sound being arrested and charged for possession of a controlled substance under the Controlled Drug and Substance Act. The accused was later released from the scene on an appearance notice with a court date in January to answer to the charges.
