The ice skating season is winding down.

The last Free Public Skate is this Sunday, March 20, at the Centre Dufferin Recreation Complex from 1.00 – 1.50 p.m. The last Parent & Tot’s skate is Thursday, March 31 from 2.30 – 3.20 p.m. Parent & Tot’s skating is cancelled March 24.

If you haven’t done so already, this is the time to register the family for Shelburne and area summer sports. The CDRC will host a Central Registration on Saturday, March 19 from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Minor lacrosse, ball hockey, baseball, soccer and golf will be on hand for registration and information.

 

LACROSSE
Shelburne Vets Minor Lacrosse begins mid-April at the CDRC.

MINOR BALL

Shelburne Shooters Minor Ball Hockey begins April until the end of June and includes full uniform and “Day of Champs” BBQ and awards. For more information, www.shelburneballhockey.com

 

BALL HOCKEY

For all the ladies interested in ball hockey, the North Dufferin Ladies Ball Hockey is looking for interested players. The league starts at the end of April, runs until the end of July and plays Mondays and Thursday evenings at the CDRC.  All levels are welcome. A registration is scheduled at the CDRC on Thursday, March 31. To register, and for more information, please email ndlballhockey@gmail.com.

 

RECREATION GUIDE

The Spring/Summer 2016 Recreation Guide will be available on Thursday, April 14, in the Shelburne Free Press. Make sure you get your copy. It will include the CDRC Swimming Pool summer programming, swimming lesson and public swimming schedules, as well as programs for becoming a lifeguard.

The Recreation Guide will also include all the information on the CDRC Summer Day Camp program that will keep the kids busy and entertained all summer long.

 

EGGSTRAVAGANZA

The 3rd Annual Easter Extravaganza will be held at the CDRC on Saturday, March 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Events will include an Easter Egg Hunt, games, crafts, photos with the Easter Bunny and more.
