The Honeywood Church Strawberry Supper is planned for, as usual, July 1. More details to follow.

Ralph and Mary Lynne Armstrong and family travelled to Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.  They joined with a large crowd to recognize the generous donors that support Sick Kids Hospital. The name “Holly Grace Cameron” was placed on a plaque on the donor wall of the hospital. Once again, thanks to the many friends and family who supported “Holly’s Heart” fundraisers for four years in Guelph. Holly is the beloved daughter, granddaughter and niece of the Armstrong family.

The new waste management program started today, Monday, in Mulmur-Melancthon area. New pick-up days have been given to other communities from what was their usual.

Dennis and Lois Leitch, accompanied by daughter, Melanie, of Toronto, and nephew, Rick Hunter of (Grand Valley) Dufferin Oaks, attended the Batchelor-Vance family reunion on Sunday, June 2. The reunion was held at the Amaranth Township Recreation Hall with a good attendance.  This was the 19th time for the reunion to be held in this excellent facility. The 2014 reunion will be held on the same weekend at the same location.
