Foundation makes Emily’s wish come true

Six year old Emily Kinaschuk (centre, as the red haired mermaid Ariel) of Shelburne was surrounded by her favourite princesses, the love and support of family, friends and the Make A Wish Foundation on October 29 at the Town and Country Room at the CDRC.
Emily and her family will travel on a Disney adventure, starting November 19 for one week at GIVE KIDS THE WORLD VILLAGE in Florida.
Make A Wish Foundation volunteer Danielle Butler says, the Village is “an amazing place where kids with life threatening diseases and their families can simply be a family and enjoy one another as all of their needs are catered to.
In addition, families have the opportunity to meet other families going through similar experiences, share their stories and support one another.”
Danielle who voluntarily organizes Make A Wish Foundation experiences for children and families in the area, said “The event on Saturday would not have been possible without some incredible people who donated their time, talents and donations.”
She sends thanks out to Troupe-Adore, Enchanting Princess Parties, Metro Collingwood, The Town of Collingwood, and the many friends and family that helped reveal Emily’s wish.
