What is “Manningham” doing with the maid? Come see the psychological stage play Gaslight at Grace Tipling Hall this weekend and find out. Ashley Duncan plays the flirtatious maid Nancy opposite Michael Bedford in this Tipling Stage Company production set in Victorian England. It opens this Friday, March 31, and plays Saturday, April 1 at 8 p.m., Sunday, April 2, at 2 p.m., and Friday, April 8 and Saturday, April 9 at 8 p.m.
Director Bev Nicholas calls Gaslight, “One of the great, classical, psychological thrillers of the thirties” filled with “beautiful Patrick Hamilton dialogue, humour, and suspense with an exciting and unexpected ending.” Excellent script directed by Bev Nicolas with sound and lights by Josh Oatman.
