As a result of an investigation by officers of the Dufferin-Nottawasaga Community Drug Action Team (CDAT), Dufferin – Caledon Crime Unit, OPP Central Regional Support Team and Dufferin OPP uniform members raided a rural residence in Amaranth Township in Dufferin County. A total of 82 marihuana plants were seized with a street value of $4300.
As a result a 48 year old male and 43 year old female of Amaranth Township were arrested and charged with Production of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana.
Both accused will appear in Orangeville at a later date. No further details are being released at this time.
