This week Gabrielle Wettlaufer from Centre Dufferin District High School shares a little bit about her experience and how Benjamin Moore Focus On Decorating in Orangeville is contributing to their and our community’s future.

Benjamin Moore is Orangeville’s premium paint and decor store that specializes in one-on-one expert advice that you will not find in larger chain stores. The Benjamin Moore Paint Store is known for selling the highest quality and most durable paint. On top of this, Benjamin Moore also provides blinds/window shades, wallpaper books, hardware and painting supplies. This store also offers in-home colour consultation where our in-store interior designer comes to your home and offers expert colour advice.

At Benjamin Moore my job title is a Sales Associate and my daily tasks include helping customers with their needs with anything to do with paint, colours or any other they require. I make any colour matches that customers request, and I also regularly complete tasks like cleaning up, filling colour chips and stocking shelves.

Benjamin Moore has their own platform for training and ordering in items such as colour chips and brochures. When training, we rely on the Access Moore website that provides further product knowledge. When ordering in the items we use the order front where you can order every colour chip brochure and fan deck that is available.

Jobs that are associated with my placement would be Contractors, Painters and Home Stagers. Benjamin Moore also donates all of the mis-tints we do not sell at the end of the year to Habitat for Humanity.
