School Days Cafe celebrates 5th Anniversary

Local resident and owner of School Days Cafe, Cheri Norris and staff celebrated their 5th Anniversary on September 13th. A fixture in the community for local students, this wonderful and diverse cafe also delivers to local businesses and all elementary schools.

“We have noticed over the years that these kids have great manners, many even becoming student volunteers once they reach high school,” said Cheri. “When we bought this building, I had been active in all of the local schools, the thought of a cafe that catered to our local students was exciting! We offer a diverse menu including vegetarian options and daily specials.”

“Every day by 11:40 a.m. School Days is packed!” Cheri adds proudly. “And because the cafe caters to students, kids can be in and out after having a filling and nutritious lunch within their alloted 40 minute lunch break.”

With a valued staff that is considered an extension of her family, Cheri would like to point out that everyone is welcome to School Days Cafe. Decorated in such a manner as to create a homey, safe environment, it is easy to understand the popularity of the cafe that “caters to all”.

School Days Cafe takes advantage of having fun as often as possible – even decorating the Cafe to follow certain holidays and festivities such as Christmas, Halloween, etc.

“We would just like to thank everyone for their continued patronage over the past five years and we look forward to serving you for many more years to come. We could not have done this without the tremendous support of our students and the community,” said Cheri.
