OPP nab two drivers for racing

On Friday November 1, at 6 p.m. Dufferin OPP were conducting radar enforcement on northbound 3rd Line EHS of Mono, south of the 5th Sideroad.
Police clocked a vehicle travelling 125 km/hr in a posted 70 km/hr zone. A vehicle stop was initiated.
As a result the 35 year old male driver from Grand Valley was charged with racing.
On Saturday November 2, at 4:30 p.m. on Highway 10 and County Road 10 in Town of Mono Dufferin OPP were conducting radar enforcement.
Police clocked a southbound vehicle travelling at 133 km/hr in a posted 80 km/hr zone. As a result the 22 year old male from Lions Head was charged with racing.
Both drivers had their driver’s licenses and vehicles impounded for 7 days. They will appear in Orangeville Court at a later date.
