OPP called to several domestic incidents over the weekend

Grey County OPP investigated seven domestic related incidents over the weekend.
On Saturday, November 2nd, police arrested and charged a 23 year old woman with assault after a physical confrontation with her common-law spouse at their residence in Grey Highlands. She is to appear in Court on November 14th.
On Sunday, November 3rd, police arrested and charged a 46 year old male from Melancthon Township with assaulting his estranged spouse at her residence in Southgate Township. He is to appear in Court on November 28th.
On Sunday, November 3rd, police arrested and charged a 44 year old male with assault causing bodily harm, overcoming resistance by attempting to choke, suffocate or strangle another person and mischief. Several firearms and crossbows were seized from the residence in Grey Highlands. The victim attended the Markdale Hospital where she was treated and released. The accused was held for bail.
On Sunday, November 3rd, police arrested and charged a 43 year old female with assaulting her spouse at their home in the Municipality in Meaford. She is to appear in Court on November 14th.
