This winter has been indisputably one of the worst winters Shelburne has seen in several years. Fortunately, even though it was very cold, Shelburnites found their own way to celebrate this year’s Family Day. On one of this winter’s few bright and sunny days, families embraced winter activities Shelburne has to offer making memories to last a life time. Skating up a storm instead of surviving one, many families took advantage of the free Family Day Skate at the Center Dufferin Recreational Complex. Pictured: (L to R) Connie Noel laced up her four year old daughter’s skates. Eager to get on the ice, Sydney marked her second time out triumphantly smiling as she skated very skillfully holding the hands of her Mom and Dad.
