OPP charge Caledon male with impaired and dangerous driving

On March 27 at 9:25 p.m., Dufferin OPP officers were conducting speed enforcement on Airport Road north of Highway 89 in Mulmur Township.  Police observed a southbound motor vehicle obviously traveling in excess of the posted 80km/hr. speed limit. Police activated the radar and the vehicle was clocked doing 157km/hr. in an 80 km/hr. zone.  

Police activated there emergency lights and stopped the 2013 black Kia on the westbound shoulder of Airport Road. Officers observed obvious signs of intoxication by alcohol. The driver identified himself with a valid Ontario driver’s license as John Budarick, 29 years old of Caledon. The driver was unsteady on his feet as he exited the vehicle and was arrested for impaired driving. He was taken to hospital with medical issues and later blood samples were taken.

As result Mr. Budarick was charge with Dangerous and impaired driving contrary to the criminal Code of Canada. He was released on a Promise to Appear to make his first court appearance in an Orangeville court on April 15.
