Shelburne Arena

Come out and enjoy the fun. Our own Mrs. Jeanne will be starting the program by reading an Easter story  and singing an Easter song… then on to the Easter Egg hunt

Dufferin Reads: One Book One County

Think about purchasing your tickets for the Grand Finale on May 13th with Robert J, Sawyer. We have already sold about half the tickets we are allocated so let us know if you would like some. They are $10 and it will be an amazing night. Robert is a good storyteller and an incredibly knowledgeable author. He has been the winner of numerous awards through various high profile Science Fiction organizations. However, don’t let the genre scare you off, his book, Triggers is an excellent read and we encourage you to drop by and get a copy. Watch our Face book page to check on times and any news.

Pizza & Pages – Teen Book Club

For our next get together, we will all have finished reading Stardust by Neil Gaiman. We certainly look forward to the insights and discussion. That night, we will also finish watching the movie as we enjoy our pizza.

Rose’s Book Club

We have some excellent new books to talk about this time. I will tempt you with a few such as The Lost Sisterhood by Anne Fortier and Cathedral of the Wild by Boyd Varty,

Our current members have also mentioned a few good reads they have had. Do come and come out to talk about books and exchange ideas.

TD Summer Reading

While this program is still a few months away (Kick off is July 5) we are already checking out the theme: Eureka and thinking about all the innovative reading, activities and experiments we can do. We will be hiring our summer student to help with the development of all the fun activities starting in May.
