The spectacular sights to be seen in Shelburne

August 20, 2014   ·   0 Comments

While driving in and around Shelburne, one must always be on the look out for the spectacular, the unusual, and the downright odd. Most of us have heard of crop circles and the mystery surrounding their existence. Whether you believe aliens use wheat fields for landing pads, the earth’s magnetic fields affect directional pull of wheat, a group of livestock rolled around in a group, or pranksters performing in large proportion are responsible for the phenomena, the fact remains, they exist and some can be seen in the Primrose area. How did they occur? You be the judge!

Imagine being on a Sunday drive and coming across this magnificent piece of art? These things happen in and around the Shelburne area. The Tree of Three Faces is a wonderful work of art. In order to maintain the owner’s privacy, the location of the tree is not disclosed, but the tree itself once grew through his circular shaped house. Yes, the tree actually grew right through the house! Reputed to have been carved by a German woodworker, when the family who owned the house relocated, the Tree of Three Faces relocated as well, being cut down, and now resides in the Shelburne area. Fantastic! Much thanks to the owner of the Tree of Three Faces for sharing this wonderful and magnificent artwork with his community.
