Meet Rosie Cornelius, owner and operator of Shine Baking Company in Shelburne, seen here featuring a large selection of delicious gluten free baked goods at her booth at the Shelburne Farmers’ Market last Thursday.

The popular market, organized by the Shelburne Business Improvement Association (BIA), has extended its outdoor market season again this week, now running until October 8 from 3 – 7 p.m. at First and Owen Sound Streets.

As a bonus, the market is right beside Trinity United Church, which opens its doors to the lower floor art gallery free to the public during the market; the gallery is currently featuring art by many of the talented visual artists from Troupe Adore.

On the final day of the 2016 Shelburne Farmer’s Market, Thursday, October 6, professional musician Bruce Ley will perform live music and all vendors will have Thanksgiving themed product displayed. Besley Farms of Shelburne has donated pumpkins for decorating fun for the kids and the whole family, so the BIA wants you to mark October 6 on your calendar and make it another great community day in Shelburne.

Shine Baking Co. offers gluten-free and vegan baked goods to those with dietary restrictions and welcomes customer orders.

Ms. Cornelius can be reached at or 519-765-0867, or visit her on Facebook at But, seeing is believing, so stop by the Shelburne Farmer’s Market this Thursday, September 29, from 3  – 7 p.m. for a peek at Rosie’s unbelievably mouth-watering gluten free baking.
