The Angel Concert at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Orangeville on Sunday was a sold out success. Nine performers plus four members of the DuBois Family presented a wide range of musical pieces from native drumming to Broadway hits to Lightfoot classics as well as opera. There was a huge display of ‘Angel Art’ pieces created and donated by local artists. Three authors were on hand signing their recent titles. The event was sponsored by Meridian Credit Union, Mochaberry, Instaplus and Sobeys. All funds raised went to The Headwaters Refugee Sponsorship Group which is hoping to welcome a Syrian family to the community in the coming months.
