Dufferin Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers have charged Marilyn Hayward, 54, from Orangeville on Nov. 3 as the result of a public complaint about a possible impaired driver.
She was charged with operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs after police located her vehicle in the area of Broadway just after 4 p.m.
The accused individual is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville. Her driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days, and her vehicle was impounded for 7 days from the time of her arrest.
None of the previously mentioned charges have been proven in court.
