Wendy Mesley, Reporter and Sunday Host for CBC’s The Nationalwill be the special guest speaker at the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County’s 15th anniversary annual meeting on June 24.
The popular and award-winning journalist wíll speak about her personal experience of watching someone she loves struggle with severe memory loss, and the terrifying threat that dementia presents as our parents – and our population – ages. The event will launch the Alzheimer Society’s 15th Anniversary celebrations.
Guests will be treated to a light lunch and cake. The event takes place at the Alzheimer Society of Dufferin County’s Annual Meeting on Tuesday, June 24 at Centre Fellowship Church, 375 Hansen Blvd., Orangeville. 11:30 a.m. – light lunch 12:00 noon – program begins 12:20 p.m. (approx.) – Wendy Mesley keynote with Q&A Space is limited.
