Support Autism Canada

Dear editor:
I am a very proud Grandma of twins (boy and girl) who have Autism. They are my inspiration behind this fund raiser (April is ‘Autism Awareness Month – April 2nd is Wear Blue Day for Autism Awareness. See the full story in our pages or visit www.kintera.org/faf/donorReg/donorPledge.asp?ievent=1096988&supId=420388738). The children were diagnosed at age two with hi-functioning Autism. There are 1 in 68 children diagnosed with Autism now. We need to spread the word about Autism Awareness and support these beautiful children and their families. Parents of children with Autism have a very different life than those without it. You have many struggles along the way, but there is also many rewarding moments as well. Just the simple things can be very difficult for a child with Autism, they work twice as hard to achieve a task than other children.
Children with Autism just want what every other child has – and they deserve to have it!
Autistic children can achieve so much with a lot of guidance and support. Some children graduate for college, some are beautiful singers, they can be anything they want, they are very smart, they just learn differently.
I am asking you to help support by making a difference for these children and making a donation to Autism Canada.
Please •Be A Voice• with your singing video’s and lets see how far we travel in supporting these amazing children.
Thank you for supporting Autism Canada Foundation. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
