May 7, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Singer Elisabeth DuBois is just one example of the excellent performers who performed for an enthusiastic audience at the Dufferin Art Council’s (DAC) Scholarship winners “Evening of Entertainment” May 2nd. It was the second successful year for the event, which saw over 100 supporters of the arts, and young artists in particular, attend the evening at Grace Tipling Hall. Artists filled every corner of the Hall’s foyer, both upstairs and down, with a wide variety of disciplines from DAC scholarship winners, including the digital art of Aaron Bosnjak, artist and video game designer Coulter Baker, costumes by designer Andrew Cleveland, hand made guitars by luthier Daniel Clark, and the visual art works of Mikayla Barney, Lynda Clare Grant, and Eden Cameron. Elisabeth DuBois thrilled listeners with “Don’t Rain on my Parade,” “Hallelujah,”and “I Dreamed a Dream;”she was joined on stage by tap dancer Katie Bryan, dancer Meghan Van der Giessen, musician and singer Daniel Clark, and singer/songwriter Patrick James Clark.
