Have a ‘Brush with Spring’ at the Farmers’ Market

May 21, 2015   ·   0 Comments

The Shelburne Town Hall Gallery Committee is hosting its first ever, ‘Brush with Spring’ event at the Shelburne Farmers’ Market today (Thursday, May 21st). The event is open to artists of all ages and abilities and costs just $5 to register. Artists will be provided with a canvas on easel, courtesy of the Town Hall Gallery, as well as paints, brushes and supplies, provided by committee member, Lynda Buffett. Besley Farms will provide the fresh veggies for inspiration. This event is possible through the dedication of funds raised by the Town Hall Gallery committee, through artists exhibits and events held over the past few years. This committee is also covering the cost of framing, so all ‘Brush with Spring’ paintings can be hung at the Town Hall, where the ‘Brush with Spring’ exhibit will open on June 12th – the same day the Pan Am Torch Relay passes through Shelburne. The public can then see all of the paintings created, and vote for their favorites.
