OPP charge stunt driver

On Sunday, May 18, at 10:20 a.m. Dufferin OPP were conducting speed enforcement on Airport road at 30th Sideroad in Mono.
Officers observed a southbound Mitsubishi travelling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was clocked at 147 km per hour in 80 km zone.
A traffic stop was initiated. The driver a 25 year old male driver from Toronto was charged with Stunt driving. His vehicle and drivers license were seized for 7 days.
The accused will appear in Orangeville Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
