Come and read to Mac. This popular program allows children to read to Mac, the poodle, and share their love of reading. Please sign up as spaces are very limited and they fill up quickly.
Teen Scene:
Now that school is out we have free license to colour outside of the lines, and our Teen group did a phenomenal job doing so at our “Wreck This Journal” program on Tuesday! Creativity was at full tilt, messes were made, and most importantly, journals were wrecked in a positive way! Each page can be a different way of expressing thoughts and feelings… using colour, scrapbooking techniques and collages etc.
We look forward to magazine art projects on Thursday, July 9th, from 6–7:30 p.m. Teens need not bring anything but themselves! No registration required!
Lastly, the second week of challenges for our Teen Summer Reading Challenge has commenced. A hard copy of these challenges can be picked up at the Library! The draw for completing the challenges for week one will take place July 9th.
Shelburne Farmers Market: Thursday, 3–7 p.m.
