Silver Willow Classic

July 9, 2015   ·   0 Comments

Mother Nature decided to cooperate and she gave us a beautiful day of sunshine and great temperatures for the 3rd Annual Silver Willow Classic Country Cruisin’ held this past Saturday and Sunday at Silver Willow Farm in Mansfield.
With approximately 250 campers spending the weekend as well as spectators coming and going Saturday and Sunday this one of a kind event raised much needed funds for the animals who call Silver Willow Farm, the only sanctioned non-specific-species foster farm in Ontario, home.
It was an amazing day of weather, with excellent displays of antique cars, corvettes, trucks, big rigs, RV trucks, driving and of course seeing the many animals that need our help.
There was tons of excitement for spectators and drivers who had a blast even if they didn’t make it all the way through the pit. With ATV’s and trucks both stock and modified racing there was always mud flying through the air and this years Dirty Girl Mud race did not disappoint the many spectators who lined the banks of the pit to watch. Saturday evening brought a huge camp fire with bands entertaining those who choose to spend the evening at this two day event where it felt like it should be illegal to have so much fun!
This annual event of mud-flinging, wheel-spinning, adrenaline-filled good will be back next year, so here’s to the fallen drive shafts of the weekend…may they be repaired twice as strong, and ready to raise hell at the 4th Annual Silver Willow Classic in 2016!
