New to Shelburne

Dear editor:
I don’t feel that town officials thought through what all the new people and traffic would do to our town. All they care about is the tax it would bring in.
The new people are already trying to put on us, they would like our kids to come out and leave the pool so they can go swimming, because no one can see them.
There will be more demands on our taxes when they want us to put in sidewalks on the highway.
If you are trying to cross over 89 from Giant Tiger to go to Dufferin Oaks, good luck with that! They will not stop to let you through and when you try to they stick up their finger at you.
I do wish you could send out a brochure to tell them welcome to the country, this is how we are, we smile at people when we meet them we don’t give them a dirty look.
And that we do not blow our nose out on the street without a Kleenex.
We all want to live as we always have. Please don’t take the peace and tranquility we have here in the country.
