Karen Foden Orgar added artistry to the Shelburne Farmers’ Market July 16th with her hand crafted jewellery, including beautiful bobble necklaces. Karen is the owner/operator of Forgar Creations based in Coburg, Ontario and travels to many different markets to sell her jewellery, including Shelburne, Flesherton and Meaford just in this area alone. The Shelburne Farmers’ Market, which opened at its new location at First and Owen Sound Street on May 31st runs every Thursday from 3–7 p.m. during the growing season. Weekly attractions include, among many wonderful things to eat and see, a wide variety of fresh locally grown fruit and vegetables, homemade meals and desserts, maple syrup and honey, fresh and smoked meats, arts and crafts, live music as well as face painting and balloons for the kids. More about Forgar Creations can be found on Facebook.
