Babes at the Market

August 20, 2015   ·   0 Comments

The youngest vendor at the Shelburne Farmers’ Market six month old Addison Frizzel is a welcome addition to the event this summer. She is kept very busy greeting everyone with a big smile on her tiny face and helping Mom serve customers at the Frizzel Family Farm booth. Addison’s Mom and Dad, Alisha and Steve Frizzel have farmed in Amaranth Township for about seven years. They raise free range chickens for eggs and pasture raised meat chickens, as well as beef cattle and custom pork on their 88 acre farm. The Frizzels also sell mushrooms weekly at the market from Fresh and Tasty Mushrooms owned by Sean and Shannon De Clerc also of Amaranth. Frizzel Family Farm can be reached at 519 925-0386 or visit their booth every Thursday at the Shelburne Farmers’ Market at First and Owen Sound Street from 3–7 p.m.
