Giant, huge, humongous Book Sale!:
This Saturday, September 5th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the No Frills Parking Lot. You will find just about any book you can imagine. We have wonderful donations, we have “weeded” books; we have tired slightly worn out books. Help us to purchase more new and current books by supporting your library!
Spanish Classes
Once again, our very popular Spanish classes will run for 10 weeks this fall. We have an excellent Instructor, Lisa Garber and I know everyone will enjoy learning a new language. Going on a trip to Cuba, Mexico, or Spain? Or just want to stretch your mind and learn a new language These classes are for you!
Intermediate and advanced classes begin Mon. Sept. 14th, 7–8:30 p.m.
Initial registration for beginners is Wednesday, Sept. 16th at 7 p.m.
Cost: $200 for 10 weeks, due on 1st class.
LEGO Club
LEGO club (ages 8+) reconvenes Wednesday, September 23rd, and will continue on Wednesdays from 3:30–4:30 p.m. during the school year.
Teen Scene
Teen Scene takes place the first 3 Thursdays of the month from 6–7 p.m. This month’s events include:
Paint chip calendars – September 3rd
Decorative CDs – September 10th
**No activities will be scheduled September 17th.
Pizza & Pages Book Club:
This chat & chew style book club features books from all genres! Chat about your favourite books; interact through the lively activities, and as a bonus. . . pizza!
Pick up a copy of September’s book choice This Dark Endeavour before the meeting September 24th, 6:00-7:00pm!
