Stunt driving in Melancthon

On September 1, at 9 a.m. Dufferin OPP responding to report of speeding vehicle on Northbound Highway 10 in Melancthon.
A northbound Toyota sedan was observed traveling at a high rate of speed. It was clocked at 154 km in a posted 80 km zone passing other vehicles.
A traffic stop was initiated. The 39 year old male driver from Toronto was charged with Stunt driving. His driver’s license and vehicle were impounded for 7 days.
The accused will appear in Orangeville Ontario Court of Justice at a later date to answer to the charge.
