Chrome Books:
Upper Grand District School Board students are urged to come in and to avail themselves of the Chrome Books we have available in the library. They can complete homework assignments, do research and all the other activities they use these tablets for at school. Students log on with their UGDSB login, work is saved on the cloud and they can access it the next day at school. What an opportunity!
Children’s programs:
Friday Story time – Just a reminder that story time is every Friday at 10:30 a.m. The program runs right through until Dec. 18th. Come and enjoy songs, finger plays, stories, crafts and musical instruments as well.
There is a different theme every week.
Paws to Read – This program runs every Tuesday from 4–5 p.m. There are 15 minute intervals for children to read to Mac the therapeutic poodle who listens attentively. This program is for any child, any age, who might enjoy reading out loud. we have some regulars who just love Mac and the experience of reading to him.

Lego Club:
LEGO club (ages 8+) reconvenes Wednesday, September 23rd, and will continue on Wednesdays from 3:30-4:30 p.m. during the school year.
Teen Scene:
Now that fall is officially here, our teens can look forward to participating in a variety of fall-inspired crafts and activities! All events take place Thursday evenings from 6–7 p.m. Here is our schedule:
Sept 24th – Book Club meeting for “This Dark Endeavour,” spooky activity included.
Oct 1st – Fall button art
Oct 7th – DIY Candles
Oct 15th – Leaf & Jar art
Oct 22nd – Life-sized Curses game
Oct 29th – Spooky selections book club meeting
