The Ontario SPCA is pleased to announce the launch of their new adoption campaign, “iAdopt for the Holidays” (www.iadopt.ca); the goal of the campaign is to get as many animals into new homes over the holiday season as possible.
iAdopt for the Holidays is running from November 1, 2013, to December 31, 2013.
Since more families bring a new pet home during the holiday season than at any other time of the year, the Society is making the process easier than ever for new pet parents. All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens adopted during iAdopt for the Holidays will go home with an adoption kit. Included in each kit are tips to help make the pet’s transition into their forever home as easy as possible for both pets and pet parents.
Cat adoption fees are $99 at Ontario SPCA Branches across the province throughout the duration of the campaign.
“It’s important to educate the public on the importance of pet adoption,” says Tanya Firmage, Director of Animal Welfare & Operations. “We would like to see as many animals as possible find their forever homes this holiday season and iAdopt for the Holidays is a great way to make this happen.”
