Normac Chapter O.E.S.

The regular meeting of Normac Chapter, Shelburne “Magic of the Midnight Sun” was held on October 12 with visitors from Alliston and Flesherton being present under the capable direction of our Worthy Matron Colleen Wood and Worthy Patron Maurice Oldfield.
Due to the inclement weather in the Barrie area, our D.D.G.M. was unable to attend so our Official Visit has been put over till December 10. Please don’t forget to come out and support the officers who have worked hard.
Donations were made to the three food banks for their Christmas Cheer, Dundalk, Shelburne and Grand Valley.
Congratulations to Isabel Ireland who received her 50-year pin on behalf of the Grand Chapter of Ontario. It was an honour for her Sister, Pearl Newtson, to present their Mother’s 50-year pin to Isabel.
Our Charter was draped in loving memory of Sister Lillian Wheeler who passed to her eternal rest on July 17, 2013.
Great food, and fellowship followed, provided by the Grand Valley Gang brought another great evening to an end.
