Thanks for shopping local Shelburne!

Dear editor:

My name is Lindsay Wegener and I hosted the Me 2 U sale sponsored by Spaw-Fect Grooming that took place at the cdrc on Nov 23rd.

I’m writing to inform you of the success of the sale despite the event of a snow squall the day of the sale.

We had 30 vendors offering everything from gently used items such as clothes, house wears, and nic-nacks to new items like purses, baked goods, and bath products. The goal was to support and promote small local business and local mom’s. Offering Shelburne a unique sale from both the vendor and shopper aspect.

We had a great turnout of locals looking for a great deal and a unique gift for someone on their Christmas list.

A box was provided for non perishables donations which was graciously filled and coffee was provided at a small donation fee with all proceeds going to the Shelburne Christmas hamper fund. A donation of crochet blankets was also received.

I am pleased to announce that with the help from local people I was able to present Lynn Topping with a donation of $130 accompanied by the non perishables and crochet blankets.

The Shelburne Christmas hamper fund provides food, toys, and clothes gracefully donated by our local community for those in our community that need it most.

I would like to take this time to thank each and every one of the local people that braved the storm and supported local! Always remember Stay, Shop, Support, Shelburne.

Lindsay Wegener,

Owner Spaw-Fect Grooming
