(L to R) Royal Bank of Canada hosted an information session on Fraud Prevention held at Shelburne’s RBC November 5th revealing all the many ways scoundrels and fraudsters attempt to steal your money and scam you. Special speakers included Shelburne’s Royal Bank of Canada Branch Manager Josie Green, RBC Customer Service Representative Jocelyn Colley, from Stutz, Brown & Self, Barristers & Solicitors, Carey A. Allen B.A., B.B.A., J.D. and Shelburne’s finest, Constable Paul Neumann from the Shelburne Police Department. If you think you have been scammed or wish to report a fraudster, call the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1888-495-8501. The best advice given in addition to contacting your bank, lawyer, or local police services, is to always have courage enough to tell someone and ask questions. Fraudsters are not bias, or racist, we are all fair game, so beware.
