During the afternoon on Friday November 14th Shelburne Police responded to a driving complaint reported by a member of the public. Police located the vehicle in question in the area of Owen Sound Street and Main Street. An investigation ensued and as a result 27-year-old Kyle Scott of Hamilton was arrested for impaired driving and over 80.
The investigation also revealed that Scott was on a 3 day licence suspension for having recently blown a warn on a roadside alcohol breath test.
Scott was charged with 3 offences: driving while ability impaired, drive over 80, and drive while under suspension.
The accused was released from the station on an appearance notice with a court date in late November.
