Following last year’s success, the Shelburne and District Fire Fighters (SDFF) Association are reaching out to their community announcing their 4th Annual Christmas Toy and Food Drive is running until December 20th. Donations can be brought directly to the Shelburne Fire Department Thursday and Friday evenings from 7 – 9 p.m. and Saturdays from noon until 4 p.m.
All toy donations collected will be distributed to those in need courtesy of Child and Family Services, Orangeville and all food items are directly delivered to Shelburne’s local Food Bank, the Shepherd’s Cupboard.
Captain Mike Morrell cordially thanked all sponsors, including the Shelburne Local Library, the Shelburne Free Press, No Frills, Foodland, Shelburne Legion 220 Branch, TD Bank, Dufferin Mutual Insurance, Sawyers Feed Mill, Brampton Plumbing and Heating for their generous support.
Important to note that items for all ages are very much needed. Watch for Captain Mike Morrell the Fire Fighting team December 13th at No Frills and December 20th at Foodland where donations can be made and help make the SDFF Associations’ 4th Annual Food and Toy Drive another wonderful and appreciated success.
