Tipling takes the stage

December 17, 2014   ·   0 Comments

Peter Pan Jr. played perfectly by Unique Dekrijger took a final bow on December 14th at Grace Tipling Hall in Shelburne. The musical, produced by LP Stage Productions, was met with delight by packed school groups at matinées as well as good crowds at evening performances. The stage group’s next musical show will be a junior production of “Into the Woods” an adaptation of one of Stephen Sondheim’s (West Side Story, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Gypsy) most popular works designed especially for young performers. “Into the Woods” is described as a “cockeyed fairy tale” with all your favourite characters – Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk, and of course the Witch. A baker and his wife set off on a journey through the woods to break a curse so that they can be blessed with a child. “Into the Woods” like Peter Pan should not be missed, so set your calendar for May 21st when the production opens and take your seat to enter the world of Once upon a time…
