Final duties as Mayor

Ed Crewson’s final duty as Mayor of Shelburne two weeks ago was to present Community Excellence Awards at Town Hall. He called Sandra Lawrence, who served for two decades on the Police Services Board, a person “devoted to the Town of Shelburne “who he said, “helped me in my role as Mayor and most importantly was my friend.”

Len Mikulich receives a Community Excellence Award from former Mayor Crewson for his years of work on the Shelburne Police Services Board. The Mayor said Mr. Mikulich was “exacting in all he does” and that “his professionalism was beyond question.”
Ed Crewson with Lynne Topping as she received a Community Excellence Award. Mrs. Topping is retiring from many years of service in the Christmas Hamper program and was recognized for her generous contribution of time and labour to that cause.
