Local Liberals host anniversary celebration

Ed and Wendy Crewson hosted a volunteer appreciation BBQ for members of the Dufferin-Caledon Liberal Riding Association on Saturday, October 15, at their home in Shelburne. The weather was symbolically perfect for the team as they celebrated the one year anniversary of the victory of the Federal Liberal Party and Mr. Crewson’s near capture of “one of the safest Conservative seats in the Parliament of Canada.” Ed Crewson said, “With the generous contributions of our donors, we have paid off the debts incurred during the campaign” and he wanted to show his “appreciation for all our volunteers.” SUPPLIED PHOTO
