On Thursday, August 8, members from CDAT (Community Drug Action Team) and the DEU (Drug Enforcement Unit) under the direction of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau (OCEB) Drug Enforcement Unit along with members of Caledon OPP Street Crime Unit, K-9 and Central Region ERT, (Emergency Response Team) executed a Controlled Drug and Substances Act search warrant at a Blind Line residence in the Town of Mono in Dufferin.
As a result of the search, officers located a large amount of a green leafy substance, believed to be marijuana, marijuana plants, a large quantity of hashish, 7 weapons and money. The total value of seized drugs, cash and paraphernalia exceeds $180,000.
In conclusion, David Ashley R. Mander, 29, of Town of Mono was arrested and charged with Production of Schedule II and 2 counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
The accused was held in custody and appeared at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on August 9th.
