Grey County OPP, along with the OPP West Region Emergency Response Team (ERT), continue to search for Mr. George Handzik.
Police have released a picture of a bicycle similar to the one used by Mr. Handzik the day he was reported missing.
The bike is described as follows:
Make: 21” Supercycle (Canadian Tire Brand)
Model: XTI-21
Colour: Red/White with Black Trim
Front suspension with lever brakes
Police have yet to find this bike and are interested in speaking with anyone who may have observed or located this bike in the Eugenia or surrounding area. Police are asking the public’s assistance to check their properties, including outbuildings for any evidence that may assist in locating Mr. Handzik.

Mr. Handzik, 84, of Napoleon Street, Eugenia, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands, was last seen at approximately 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 20th, riding his bicycle east bound on Concession 8 towards the causeway in Eugenia. He was reported missing on Tuesday, August 20, at 7:28 p.m.
