Crime Stoppers of Simcoe-Dufferin-Muskoka along with the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains Detachment of the OPP are requesting the assistance of the public in solving this crime.
On Saturday September 7th, 2013 between 4 – 5 p.m. two male suspects entered a residence on Woodland Park Road in The Blue Mountains. Once inside they assaulted the lone male resident and stole two flat screen televisions, described as a 50 inch Samsung and 45–50 inch Sony. The suspects then left the scene prior to police arrival.
One suspect is described as a white male, mid to late 20s, approximately 5’9” tall with a thin build, no facial hair and short blondish hair. The second suspect is only described as a male.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police are continuing their investigation with the assistance of Forensic Identification experts and are requesting anyone with information about the people responsible to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or go to www.tipsubmit.com to send an anonymous web tip.
