Declining a deposition

September 23, 2013   ·   0 Comments

Dear editor:

This letter is in response to Mayor Bill Hills submission in the local paper this week.

It appears that Mayor Hill of Melancthon has taken offence and insinuated that my factual comments to date are an attack against him personally.

I can honestly say that my information has no personal influence.

To date Mayor Hill has been the most vocal in a negative way towards Dufferin Wind. Because of his constant rants, the public needed to be reminded that the first 2 phases in our area are the result of  the Melancthon  municipal governments authority and their lack of interest in what the constituents had to say. Now the Ontario government has control and they are not listening to what the Municipal government has to say.

Mayor Hill has extended an offer to present a delegation to the council. I decline his offer. Delegations have been presented in the past with no results.

In closing if Mayor Hill is going to be vocal with his rants, then he should expect criticism.

Bart Malloy

Melancthon Resident
