Over 100 volunteers participated in Shelburne’s Fiddleville, making the event the wonderful success it was. As a special thank you in appreciation of the volunteer’s dedication and unwavering support, Shelburne Legion President, Liz Whitten hosted a special luncheon on Saturday, 21. “We had a good Legion Week. We hope that turn out for volunteers during Fiddleville week will be even higher next year,” said Whitten. Few people know better than Whitten and the volunteers the amount or work involved surrounding Fiddleville . “We can’t pay them,” Whitten remarked, “and my God! We couldn’t have Fiddleville without them. We just want them to know we really appreciate them.” If you would like to become part of the many volunteers who help out during Fiddleville, contact the Legion 220 Branch at 519-925-3830.
