Haliburton woman charged with mischief

On Saturday March 15th Shelburne Police responded to a call for a possible fire and an intoxicated female who emptied a fire extinguisher in a stairwell of a downtown apartment building. Both the police and the fire department responded to the call. No evidence of a fire was found.
As a result of the police investigation 41 year old Evlynn Morrison of Haliburton was arrested and charged with mischief under $5000. She was released on a promise to appear and undertaking with a court date in April at the Orangeville courthouse.
