Giant Tiger celebrates 53 years in business

What is little known to the community is that Giant Tiger is a huge supporter of the Town of Shelburne and the S.P.C.A. raising money throughout each year in support of this worthy cause. Giant Tiger business owners, Andrew and Diana Lewis are very proud to report they have raised $3,100 last year and are trying to trump that amount this year. Andrew Lewis commented, “I went to school here as a child and I’m happy to be here.” With regards to how businesses thrive in today’s economy in a community like Shelburne, Lewis had this to say, “Our main focus is to be community minded-one doesn’t work without the other.” Employing an average of twenty people, Giant Tiger has become a favored and recognised staple in Shelburne offering great prices for its wide selection of merchandise.
